Once again we were blessed with great weather and
the turnout managed to enable a collection of £170 towards the BMCRC Benevolent
Fund so a big big thank you to all those who took part.
First over the line was Jeremy Hill but it was
discovered that he cheated so he was subsequently disqualified. Pat Heron
blazed over the finish line to take the chequered flag and his prize will be
awarded to him at his next meeting (Lydden)... well done to Pat.
There were some real good efforts with fancy
dress and I am beginning to realise that Keith Rossiter, in particular, has some
INTERESTING underlying tendencies (if the contents of his wardrobe are anything
to go by!!) i.e.:

Thanks very much everyone. xx
If anybody would like to knock up a report of their interpretation of the
event, I would be very happy to post it on here!!
The weather was on our side and there were plenty
willing to participate... resulting in an interesting event with the only
injuries involving pride :-) I had a very complicated format and points
system that would have put any serious confusionist to shame - however, there
were other team members on board (namely Tina Hill, Big Bird and Katie Griggs)
who sorted it out and made it understandable and manageable.
Winners of the events prize of +2 laps, which
will be carried over to the Cadwell Park meeting in August due to unforeseen
circumstances, were the F400s.
